Important information related to refund of Lufthansa tickets

Refund Queries
Please send all refund related queries to – bkk_refund@icat.dlh.de

Refund of totally unused tickets
Kindly process refund via the GDS only.
Refund Handling Fee is applicable for following conditions.
(1) Full refund request (Ticket issued date is less than 1 year (from refund application date)
(2) Partial refund request without any refund calculation given by agents (Ticket issued date is less than 1 year (from refund application date)
Refund Handling – Death / Visa Refusal cases
Death Case – In case the fare rule states waiver of refund penalty, please raise a RA via the BSP attaching all supporting documents like death certificate, document to prove relationship with the deceased etc.
Please ensure to update the comments box on RA with remarks – ‘Involuntary full refund without charges due to death in the family. Death certificate and passport copy attached’
Visa Refusal Case – In case the fare rule states waiver of refund penalty, please raise a RA via the BSP attaching all supporting documents like refusal letter from the embassy/consulate etc.
Please ensure to update the comments box on RA with remarks – ‘Involuntary full refund without charges due to visa rejection. Embassy letter attached.’
